Watching the sunset over Antalya’s cliffs is magical. But what about the footprint we leave behind? At Be Bold Hostel, we refuse the "stay and leave" mentality. To truly enjoy this city, we believe we must also protect it.
Last week, a group of our guests, friends, and locals gathered for our second “Community Clean-Up.” We grabbed our blue bags, put on our gloves, and headed down to the cliffs—not just to take photos, but to make a difference.
Actions Speak Louder Than Words
Carrying the name “Be Bold” isn’t just a slogan. Being bold means stepping up. Sometimes it means dancing in the front row, but other times, it means picking up the trash that everyone else walked past.
Our motivation was simple: To give back to nature.
Guided by a fantastic team, we tackled a beautiful spot suggested by one of our community members, which had unfortunately become a hotspot for litter. The view was breathtaking, but the plastic on the ground cast a shadow over it. After hours of work, those blue bags were filled not just with waste, but with a collective sense of accomplishment.

Seeing those piles of trash bags was a reality check. Our next goal goes beyond just cleaning up—we want to prevent the mess in the first place. We aim to involve the municipality to install proper signage, encouraging everyone to respect these natural wonders.
This isn’t the end; it’s just the beginning. For our next clean-up, we want to see you there—gloves on, smiling, and ready to make an impact.
